Inside information

Under art. 2 of Law no. 108 of 27 May 2016 on natural gas.

Inside information means information of a precise nature which has not been made public, relating to wholesale energy products and which, if it were made public, would be likely to significantly affect their prices. The law includes four types of information in this category:

a

Information which must be made public under natural gas legislation, access regulations, network codes and market rules.

b

Data on the capacity and use of facilities for production, storage and transport, including planned or unplanned unavailability.

c

Information required under wholesale market contracts or regulatory acts which could have a significant effect on the price.

d

Other information on the natural gas market which participants could use to make trading decisions or to issue orders relating to wholesale energy products.
